We met in Brent's parent's backyard in the evening and had a potluck dinner afterward.
We felt like that would be most convenient for all,
and we really enjoyed the intimate backyard setting.

In the LDS church, babies are not christened. Instead a priesthood holder (usually the father) says a special prayer for the baby, in which an official name and blessing is given. The family and friend priesthood holders are invited to join in a circle to give the blessing.
Thank you to everyone who came out to this special event! There were so many fabulous family and friends there...I was so busy talking to everyone and didn't get to take many pictures. Thanks to my mom for getting these pics. And Joshua & Toby had a great time running around with more of their favorite cousins!
Oktoberfest 9/6/10
My favorite, favorite! Snowbird Oktoberfest in Utah. While Brent and Jonny were hiking Pfiferhorn, Emily, Liz and Jonny Lange and I took a crew of kids up to Oktoberfest. We picked up Brent on the way up at the bottom of his hike.
Cousins, treats, Snowbird, lederhosen, music, polka, bratwurst, shopping, crisp mountain air, joviality, fun & games! Great Labor Day.
